RangerTalk is a pair of video walkie talkies built for kids who want a phone
and aren't getting one yet.

Press the button and your kid sees the other handset live on screen — face,
backyard, treehouse, whatever they're pointing it at. No dialing. No contacts
list. No passcode to forget.

There is no SIM card slot and no WiFi connection. The two handsets pair to
each other and only to each other, straight out of the box. That means no
data plan, no app, no account, and no way for anyone outside the box to
reach your child.

Range is up to 500m in open outdoor space, less through walls and buildings.
Battery runs about 6-8 hours of active use and charges by USB-C.

1. Charge both handsets with the included USB-C cable

2. Power on. They find each other automatically — already paired at the factory.

3. Press and hold the talk button. Your face goes to their screen, theirs to yours.

4. Release to listen.

No, none of the three. The handsets connect directly to each other on 2.4GHz, the same way a traditional walkie talkie does. There's nothing
to sign up for, nothing to install, and no monthly cost. It works in a campground
with no bars.

Up to 500m with clear line of sight — an open field, a beach, a campground.

Real-world range is shorter. Walls, floors, cars, and dense trees cut it down,
so inside a house expect roughly 250m . If you need them working from one end of
a neighborhood to the other through houses, these aren't the right tool and
we'd rather tell you now than process a return later.
